Peta 2 - Everyone loves peta2, the peta website geared towards college students!
Riverside Humane Society - This is the website of the Humane Societies Pet Adoption Center in Riverside, an excellent place to volunteer.
Vegan Outreach - This is the excellent organization who donates the majority of our vegan literature given out around UCR.
Bruins for Animals! (UCLA) - UCLA's Animal Rights Group, BFA, has many events going on every month in the LA area. If you are ever in LA, make sure to check in with BFA and also socalveg.org to see if there are any events to attend. The ARC at UCR is closely tied with Bruins for Animals and hopefully we will be doing a couple events together.
"All Animals Are Equal" - An essay written by the famous modern philosopher Peter Singer covering the philosophical arguments of Species Equality.
VegWeb - the most AMAZING collection of vegan recipes ever (includes extremely helpful ratings of recipes along with pictures a lot of the time).
The Vegetarian Resource Group's Nutrition Page - handy, objective guide to veg nutrition information!
Socal Veg Event Listings - This is an event listing website that lists all sorts of events for vegan, vegetarian, and other animal rights projects in Southern California (although typically in LA). Theres always a lot of events happening, so read up and speak up to the club if you think the club should take a field trip to one!
Riverside County Department of Animal Services - The website of the state-run Riverside animal shelter.
